Luigi Lavazza SpA is an Italian coffee producer and distributor of coffee beans and flour based in Turin (northern Italy). The comapny was founded by Luigi Lavazza (1859-1949). He was the first that sold roasted coffee in a small retail store. His grandson Emilio († 16 February 2010) built the company into one of the major coffee companies in Italy. Today, Lavazza is primarily known for espresso coffee that is all over the world. Lavazza SpA is still in its fourth generation of family ownership. Lavazza is one of our best selling coffee here at Coffeerista. Especially popular are "Crema e Aroma, Super Crema" and "Qualita Rossa".
