Brazilian coffee and swiss science. So NESCAFÉ was born. It all began in 1930, when the Brazilian government made the Nestlé company responsible for the development of "coffee cubes". Brazil was looking for a solution to its overproduction of coffee.

After eight years of research it was there, the Swiss coffee to which you just add water without losing the good tasted of coffee.

The first instant coffee was presented to the world on April 1, 1938. The new product was named NESCAFÉ, a combination of NESTLÉ and café.
